NCLC offers information and advice in relation to rent and mortgage arrears,landlord and tenant disputes, local authority and private residential evictions and housing related anti-social behaviour issues. The Law Centre may provide legal representation in housing evictions in re-possession cases involving Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council, private landlords and financial institutions.

In addition, NCLC sponsor a free advice clinic run by Threshold, the national housing organisation. Threshold provide advice on housing matters, including applications and transfers, points for local authority housing lists, social and affordable housing, rent supplement, repairs/condition of premises, deposit retention, evictions and assistance to homeless persons. Threshold also provide advice and advocacy service in relation to disputes with landlords, including local authoritites.
